This position will be responsible for working with Marsh brokerage colleagues and clients to develop and deliver effective written and oral communications. Successful candidates must be able to define potential problems and identify solutions while maintaining client relations and identifying business opportunities.

Requirements
• Background in fire protection/loss prevention or fire safety in industrial occupancies
• Previous industry or insurance carrier experience preferred
• 5-15 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree (engineering, fire protection or related degrees preferred) or equivalent
• Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems and relevant use of Internet. Proficient in English language
• Travel required

USG projects require the design services and review of a fire protection engineer. A FPE is an integral part of the design team, and must be involved in every aspect of the design as it relates to fire protection.

REQUIREMENTS:
A registered P.E. who has passed the FPE examination by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveys or a registered P.E. in a related engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years documented experience in fire protection.
•Employment is project-based and will take place on US Military Bases throughout Afghanistan.
•Minimum deployment duration is 180 days.
•U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
•Competitive base salary plus 35% Danger Pay plus an additional 35% Post Differential Pay for time worked in Afghanistan (In-Theater) for a minimum of 42 days and is retroactive.
