This position will be responsible for the advancement of Ulteig's fire protection engineering within the Sioux Falls Market; and will work with the Fargo Fire Protection staff to help promote Ulteig as a regional leader in Fire Protection Engineering. This position includes complete responsibility of performing design tasks relating to fire protection systems, as well as analysis of existing systems, and relevant building and fire codes. Position will also include the development of technical staff such as design technicians and CAD drafters. Position Qualifications include: Engineering Bachelor’s Degree with a sound understanding of Fire Protection fundamentals; a PE, or EIT certification with the ability to take the PE exam within 12 months of hire; 5 years of experience required with strong technical skills, including interpretation of National Fire Codes, particularly NFPA 13 and/or 72.
