One of the nation's largest private health systems, Christiana Care Health System, of Delaware, currently has an opportunity available in their Fire Protection department for a knowledgeable candidate with a B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering and at least 5 years experience with fire protection and life safety programs. Experience applying National Fire Codes, Joint Commission standards, OSHA standards, and state/local codes to daily operations and construction/renovation activities is required. To qualify, candidates must pass OSHA required physical and fit test for respirator use; and complete Fire I, Fire II, Confined Space Rescue, and Hazardous Materials Technician training within 12 months of hire. EMT-B certification preferred. NICET Level 2 Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology with ability to obtain Delaware certifications or Licensed Professional Engineer.
