S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. a leading specialized contractor in the fire protection industry is seeking a junior to senior level Fire Protection Engineer to manage a fire protection service and inspection contract for the Naval District Washington Region which includes various facilities in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia within a 100 mile radius of the Washington Navy Yard.

The successful candidate will have an office in the Washington DC area and must travel to all required sites as needed. Employee will be responsible for planning and directing the actives of a Dispatcher and up to 15 Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Technicians on a daily basis, maintaining all required paperwork, tracking testing frequencies and designing fire protection systems including fire alarm, sprinkler and special hazards systems.

Requirements include a BS in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Science, PE registration and 5 + years project management experience. Microsoft and CAD skills required. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, strong problem analysis and solving skills excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and personal integrity. Eligible for security clearance for government agencies.
