Description:

Constellation Energy Nuclear Group (CENG) - Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to:
• Perform FP engineering reviews of structure, system, or component design change/modification packages;
• Support Fire Hazard Analysis and Safe Shutdown Analysis through development of FP engineering evaluations and /or calculations;
• Update associated FP design basis documents;
• Provide technical support and input to the FP System Engineers, Civil Engineers, Appendix R Engineers through review of work packages, implementing procedures, and administrative procedures that impact the overall FP Program

Qualifications include:
• B.S. degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
• Working knowledge of 10CFR50 (Appendix R) requirements, National Fire Protection Association state building codes and regulations, and Factory Mutual Loss Prevention Data Sheets.
• Six years of engineering experience with three years dedicated to Fire Protection Engineering, preferred
• Commercial nuclear power generation experience, preferred
• Full member status in the Society of Fire Protection Engineering, preferred
