Outstanding opportunity available for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer / Electronics Specialist / Fire Alarm Technician. The ideal candidate must have experience in low-voltage electrical systems, ideally with regard to fire alarm systems. Additional experience with AutoCAD and management would be a plus. This role is perfect for someone who is a self-starter and wants to be involved with exciting projects in a fast-paced, manufacturing-oriented environment.
Design & Development: Design wiring layouts for custom low voltage fire alarm panels, which interface with a variety of fire alarm systems.
Software Proficiency: Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Metalix (CNC software) to support production and engineering processes. Assist in generating and modifying CNC files as needed.
Customer Support: Assist with technical calls, providing troubleshooting expertise and resolving electrical system issues for customers.
Panel Testing & Support: Assist with wireman tasks and troubleshooting technical issues that arise. Support production and manufacturing operations as needed.
Requirements
Experience with low-voltage electrical systems is required.
Fire alarm industry experience is a strong plus but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with CNC systems and programming is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented and personable.
