Full-Time Employee Benefits Summary

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Interface believes in the importance of a healthy work life balance. To help foster such a balance, Interface employees earn PTO hours starting with the first hour of work. Accrual is based on a maximum of 80 hours per pay period.

Paid Holidays
Interface recognizes nine (9) paid holidays per year, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

Year End Close (Winter Break)
Interface typically closes for clients the final week of the year. This time away from the office is meant for rest, relaxation, family, and friends. This uncharged and paid time off typically includes standard business days between the Christmas holiday and New Years’ Day.

Additional Paid Time Off
Interface believes Jury Duty is an obligation and a privilege of citizenship and we encourage our staff members to serve when asked to do so. To assist employees in being able to serve, you will be paid regular wages to a limit of 10 days or 80 hours whichever is less. Interface also offers three (3) days of Bereavement Leave as detailed in our Employee Handbook.

We believe that this embodies our culture and focus of cultivating long term team member success and not one of just "work", but one of collaboration… where we can train, mentor, grow, test creativity, and exceed client expectations. What does this mean? Our team members can collaborate from the office or where they live. The choice is theirs; flexibility and professional success is in their hands.

Transportation Assistance
Interface provides flexibility for employees’ commuting options. Interface will add funds via a debit card system. Employees will have a choice between a parking debit card, a public transportation debit card, or both and allocate funds to their preference. Interface will add up to $100 per month towards commuting cost. Employees can also elect to have a pre-tax deduction added to their card up to the IRS combined maximum of $280 per month. Interface will also pay up to $25 per month (taxable) if you walk to work or bike to work. This benefit begins the 1st of the month following your start date. This benefit is pro-rated to the number of days you have elected to work in the office.

Home Office Expense Reimbursement
Interface will reimburse you up to $100 per month for company use of home internet and phone. This benefit is prorated to the number of days you have elected to work from home.

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Interface strives to offer the most comprehensive coverage for all employees. Our designated plan includes health, vision, and dental insurance. Interface will pay 100% of employee only premium or 80% of the premium for employee and dependents. A complete plan summary will be provided.

Life Insurance
Interface provides group life insurance in the amount of two times (2x) your annual salary up to $300,000. Additional life insurance can be purchased for the employee and dependents at the employee’s expense.

Long Term Disability Insurance
Interface pays 100% of the premium. Monthly benefits begin at six (6) months of qualified disability. Benefits continue if the employee continues to have a qualified disability or until age 65. The benefit is 60% of the employee’s basic monthly earnings up to a maximum of $12,000 per month.

Cafeteria Plan
A plan authorized by the Internal Revenue Code, which allows employees to pay for authorized expenses, such as transportation, daycare, and medical expenses, with pre-tax dollars.

401(k) Sponsored Plan
Interface has established a 401(k) Plan which can help you save for your retirement. You may contribute up to 70% of your eligible compensation on a pre-tax basis to the 401(k) Plan up to the IRS annual contribution limit. Interface also offers a ROTH plan for post-tax contributions.

Employer Contribution 401(k) Profit Share Plan
Our goal is to provide retirement benefits to ALL employees. The Board of Directors allocates a portion of company profits to this account which is then allocated to all eligible employees based on a percentage of compensation.

Academic and Educational Programs
The education and academic assistance program is designed to assist you financially if you decide to enhance your knowledge and skills. You must be in good standing with the company and continue to meet all performance standards and requirements to be eligible for the programs.

Research and Development
Interface understands great ideas need to be heard and that any of our colleagues could conceive the next great concept. Team members are encouraged to pitch their ideas to the Managing Principal’s Group. If approved, Interface will finance the project with paid time and/or outside resources.

Professional and Technical Societies
Interface encourages active participation in technical and professional societies. We will pay annual dues to one such organization for each employee with prior supervisor approval.

In-Service Training
Interface provides in-house training sessions conducted by members of the firm or outside guests. These may be offered to introduce an innovative technology or demonstrate a new technique or piece of equipment.

Re-Charge Program
Our Team Members are exceptional in their dedication to the company and our clients. As a thank you, we offer a tiered bonus program. At your five-year anniversary, we provide five paid days off plus $5,000. At your ten-year anniversary and each subsequent five-year anniversary, we offer five paid days off plus $10,000.
