Company History
Founded in 1985, Protection Development, Incorporated (PDI) is a fire protection and life safety engineering and code consulting firm that embraces an integrated approach to fire protection engineering, code review and analysis, permit coordination and expediting, and project management.
Our methodology combines client input, an evaluation of project constraints (site conditions, aesthetics, historical significance, innovative concepts, etc.), and a thorough analysis of mandated requirements. These factors are weighed against performance-based options to produce cost effective and functional designs that meet the needs of the owner while achieving regulatory compliance.
